The Hold & Spin Bonus is the centerpiece of Paws of Egypt. It fires when a Pharaoh Cat Wild appears on each of the reels on the same spin. The Bonus drops you into a purple-lit version of the temple with 3 lives marked as hearts above the grid. A spin without a new Pharaoh costs a heart, while a fresh Pharaoh Cat Wild restores your lives back to 3 and moves you up the Wilds Ladder. The round ends when you either run out of lives or fill the board.
Wilds Ladder
A ladder of cash prize values is positioned on the left side of the grid. Prizes start at 1x if you only have 3 Wilds, while 9 Wilds will score you 500x. Each Pharaoh Wild you land during the Bonus bumps you up one rung.
Base Game
On regular spins, the 5 paylines pay for sequences of matching Card Royals or Cats from left to right. Pharaoh Cat Wilds substitute for all other symbols wherever they drop, helping to complete winning lines. The Pharaoh’s other job, of course, is triggering the Bonus when 3 of them appear together, 1 per reel.
