Shock Tower takes away just about everything you’d expect from a casino game. There are no reels to spin or paylines to hit. Instead, you’re looking at a neon tower perched on a chunk of drifting rock. Crystals hover around it, each one labeled with a prize value. Behind it all, the sky is a deep red with dark silhouettes looming.
Place a bet and the tower fires. An electric charge races upwards, and if it reaches the top, bolts jump outward. Any crystals that get struck pay out whatever values they have written on them, but miss them all, and the round is over with nothing. The game’s sound effects give it a sci-fi vibe, buzzing and crackling like an old arcade machine.
Prize Crystal Layout
You’re never guessing with Shock Tower. Every crystal shows its value in plain sight – small numbers on green ones, bigger numbers on pink. The layout reshuffles each round, meaning the potential payouts are different each turn. One round might show mostly green crystals with lower values, while the next round could be heavy on the pink crystals instead.
Super Lightning
Randomly, the tower fires off a Super Lightning blast that covers the whole screen, causing every prize to get a 2x to 7x Multiplier. There’s nothing you do to trigger this; it just happens, causing an average round to suddenly become much larger.
Chain Lightning
Once a prize crystal has been cracked open and paid, the Chain Lightning feature gives a shot at even more winning. It races out from the original hit to nearby crystals and destroys those too. Think of it as an aftershock – the initial strike does its job, then extra bolts come in behind it for winnings you weren’t counting on.
