Yokai opens under Mount Fuji with a samurai, a forest full of spirits, and a moon sitting above the reels like it is keeping score. The art has that hand drawn street mural bite, but the game underneath is all control and build up: Wilds through the middle, Scatters on key reels, and a Multiplier that can keep climbing once Free Spins begin. 

The moon is the problem. In the base game, it gathers Wild values for that spin, then resets. In Free Spins, it keeps climbing, and that is where the round starts showing teeth. The samurai decides the starting Free Spins by cutting 9 moons, while extra Scatters can bring 6 more moons later. Red Wilds add +2, +3, +5, or +10, all Wilds stick during the feature, and the Multiplier keeps building overhead. Let the forest stay pretty. Watch the moon do the damage.
