KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENTS
When playing a Knockout Poker tournament, a cash bounty is placed on every player. Any time you eliminate somebody from the tournament, no matter when it happens, you win their cash bounty which is then credited to your account.
This means that in Knockout tournaments, you can win money even when you don’t finish in the money.
KNOCKOUT SIT & GO TOURNAMENTS
It’s all about high-intensity and lightning-fast action with Ignition Casino’s sit-and-go tournaments. Sit & Go Knockouts are available in 6 or 18 player formats with buy-ins ranging from $3.30 to $162.
HOW DO KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENTS WORK?
Most of our Knockout events work as follows:
- A $5 Knockout event might have a total buy-in of $25 + $2.50.
- $20 goes into the regular prize pool, $5 is each player's bounty, and $2.50 is the tournament fee.
- The winner of the tournament will receive an extra $5 for their own bounty.
The above Knockout tournament would be displayed in the “Scheduled Tournaments” lobby as ($5 Knockout).
PROGRESSIVE KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENTS (PKO)
HOW DO PROGRESSIVE KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENTS WORK?
Most of our Progressive Knockout events work as follows:
- A portion of the buy-in goes to the standard prize pool.
- The remaining buy-in funds each player's initial bounty.
- Anytime you eliminate a player, you pocket the displayed of their bounty amount value, and that same amount is added to your own progressive bounty.
Progressive Knockout events are marked as PKO in the poker client. Find them on the daily, and watch for the upcoming PKO Series.
